I have received many gifts in my life. I think that is some lucky thing if we consider the capitalist worldwide system in which we live. The main gift that i get in my mind right now, is the experience, gives from someone to a complete stranger, being in the next situation like a true lighthouse in middle of a dark sea.
In my lasts 5 years, i have done various travels in different places in Chile. This travels has been always in a hitchhiking mode. When i get in the truck/car/chart/boat from a stranger, i always procure do a pleasant chat with this other, and in that way, he/she become in someone, with a name and a own story. I had been lucky because i always find great people that naturally shares they experiences and memories. Is something magical, and magical it seems a very small word for that. In that moment, in the cockpit or the rear compartment, i am travelling to a future place, being placed in a present moment and time and talking about past memories that we preserve for share, even when we did not know it. In those chats, i received tips, jokes, travel routes, peoples, faces, unknowns places, food, even money, or even and more valious, a sincerely goodbye.
That is a mean from time, from they own time. When they have the will of share they own time and space with a absolutely stanger, is the moment where a part of what be a human being means truthly. I keep those gift in my own form to take viewpoints and build or deconstruct to myself.

Mongolia
It’s really
difficult to me to have to choose a country to visit, because i want to visit
them all. But I will choose Mongolia this time. I want to visit it because is
almost in the middle of that way. Mongolia have a rich cultural and natural
heritage that could be tracked to the more deep waves of the time. They are
mainly known for the big Mongolian Empire raised in the XIII A.C. under the
command of the mighty Genghis Khan. Also, they have a plateau called Ukok,
which is similar to our plateau in the Andeans region, too ancient that you can
find dinosaurs there! In this lands, the Altai mountains are too beauty and mysterious
like the own nature of the majestic Andeans mountains. I hope walk there someday,
where to many foots of humans and animals has risen. I absolutely would live
and die there.

From the mud did we arrived. To the mud we will go.
Hello there! My name is Álvaro Lizama, i am
student of 4th year in anthropology with mention in archaeology, at
the University of Chile. I born in
Santiago in 1993 and I think that since I was a child, I ever want to work with
the ground. And actually, from the words from a wise men that I did knew in one
of my travels in the north of Chile, I am studying for get paid for work with
sand and stones, just like I did it when I played when I was a kid playing with
rocks and sand, trying to build something with mud and grass, like it were a
ancient ruin from a forgotten people.
I know right now, that is not too simple.
This knowledge have a wide social relevance for a lot of people and communities,
where the past is not just a history to teach some night in a book, but it is they
own history and of they forefathers. It’s a living past right in they daily
actions, thoughts and feelings.
